The trick is to set goals and work towards your endeavours. Always thought about losing those last 10 pounds, find a gym or trainer that can help you to accomplish the weight loss. Positive people are often drawn to positive energy, so if you want good things to start happening to you, you need to make it happen yourself.
Getting through the last few months of winter is hard, tempers are stretched, patience is dwindling and there comes a time when you know you're about to crack. Here is a list of things happy people know to be true.

Instead of constantly speaking about it get off the couch, explore, be more sponatnious and find a new talent. Put your plans into action! A new hobby can push your brain out of a negative space and instead brighten your mood.
If someone is angry with you or treating you in a manner that you don't deserve try to see things from their point of view. Is it really you and your actions that they are angry at or are they lashing out because of things wrong in their own lives? Instead of taking their comments and anger to heart step back and take the time to understand the frustration that they are feeling. A different perspective could solve the problem.
Look back at how far you have come with life. It's very easy to pass over the small victories that you reach and the accomplishments that you make happen. If no one else notices them, treat yourself and pat yourself on the back for a job well done. Be your own advocate!
If all else fails, and you still can't deal with the cold winter days throw yourself a mini "stay-cation". Make yourself a summer drink, turn on the tunes, throw on some summer clothing and lay out on your couch. Visualize yourself on a beach, enjoying the sun and plan for the warm days ahead!
