About a year ago I joined a womens kickfit class. At first I wanted to quit as I'd never done anything as physically intense but I stuck with it. A year later I have competed in a kickboxing competition, and although I didn't win, it gave me that extra push to try harder and realize that I have what it takes to be a fighter. The added muscle and abs don't hurt either! Great blog, keep them coming!

Kickfit is actually the highlight of my week. I joined to get out of the house and to start a hobby where I could meet a group of women my own age. I love the companionship and the fact that I don't even notice the workout. I'm looking tougher, am calmer and now have some new friends!
