These are awesome shorts, constructed well and will stay put during heavy training/movement. They run a tad bit small, the waist squeezes me just enough to motivate me to eat healthier, haha. If I were getting them again, I'd probably still get the 4-6, I normally wear a 4 or 5... My guess is I'm between sizes. The elastic and velcro are very heavy duty and you won't have any problems with the closure. I also liked where the waist is, I hate super-low rise shorts. I personally would like the shorts to be a little bit longer but overall they're a great pair. The free mouth gaurd is cool as well =)
